Celemetrix training services - value through
knowledge and experience
Celemetrix training courses are designed to provide the skills required to
competently install, manage, maintain and commission telecommunication and
network infrastructure. Course development is undertaken internally by our
extensive technical team and regularly updated to ensure training delivery
contains only the most relevant and precise information. Ideally suited to
field operations staff, Celemetrix training courses combine technical theory
with advanced practical elements to reinforce the learning process and are
conducted by our Cert IV qualified trainers.
CMT-05-001 Fibre Optic OTDR, Commissioning &
Reporting training course, 3 days Telstra approved training course
Suitable for all skill levels, this course provides the required information to
confidently commission and fault-find fibre optic infrastructure. The three day
course focuses on optical principles and theory, testing techniques (including
OTDR's), practical testing techniques, fault finding and isolation and
commissioning report development. With extensive hands on testing exercises,
the course will develop the practical skills required for competency and
proficiency in the field (Assessment & Telstra accreditation included).
CMT-06-020 Fibre Optic Splicing & Joint
Enclosure training course, 5 days Telstra approved training course
Suitable for all skill levels, this course provides attendees with the
carrier-grade skills required to confidently install fibre-optic joint
enclosures and splice fibre-optic cores. During the course, each attendee will
construct a minimum of six carrier certified fibre-optic joint enclosures. The
extensive practical exercises are chosen to incorporate all the disciplines
needed to confidently assemble fibre optic joint enclosures and splice fibre
optic cores without causing fault conditions. This course gives the attendees
the accreditation required to work on the Telstra network.
CMT-06-045 Ethernet & TCP/IP training course, 2
days
This course is designed to provide technicians at all skill levels with an
introduction to the operational fundamentals of Ethernet and TCP/IP networks.
It focuses on LAN/WAN network deployment of Ethernet and associated
technologies - Routing, Switching, VLAN's etc. The 7-Layer 0SI model is covered
and provides practical elements to assist troubleshooting of common
service-delivery problems. Course exercises include hands-on exposure to
RFC2544 testing and QoS validation processes. The course concludes with an
outline of the future direction of Ethernet and IP technologies.
CMT-07-090 FTTP Network Construction and Commissioning
training course, 5 days. *NEW Telstra approved training course
Suitable for all skill levels, this course provides the required information to
confidently construct, commission and fault-find FTTX networks including
Telstra's FTTP environment. All attendees are required to construct key FTTX
components as well as demonstrate suitable skills for some of the more
challenging optical joint enclosures needed for effective FTTX deployment.
During the course each attendee will construct a minimum of four
carrier-certified fibre-optic joint enclosures, install customer hardware and
complete optical and customer service commissioning and fault finding.
We also offer courses in SDH and DWDM. Courses can also be run at your
facility.
